To model the problem, we chose the software Matlab. Our goal is to plot each variable and see which factor implies on the variances of the Turtle population and stipulate a maximum temperature of the planet that may extinct this population.
In this post we are going to show the results obtained from the mathematical analysis on Matlab, and also the construction of our code.
Temperature Rise: Here follows what may occur to the temperature of the water on four scenarios of the oceans in the next following years by human action:
As said on the previous analysis, the amount of turtles will variate according to the temperature and will have the following pattern:
With all this data in hands we can conclude our analysis. As the temperature rises, the amount of turtles on the environment decreases and on a long term it may lead to the extinction of its species. The ecossistem is affected entirely by the rising of the temperature, leading other species to extinction. It is crucial for the wellbeing of the planet’s ecosystem to inhibit the constant rise in global temperature, in order to keep the balance of life on planet.
